Our Favorite Place

This is our favorite place: Cappadocia (Kapadokya in Turkish). Because of its terrain, we feel like we are in another world. It also does not have the city noise and craziness we want to sometimes escape from in our adopted city. Click on the picture below to view an album of snapshots of our time there.  We covered a lost city being restored by Unesco, the Ihlara Valley that has the stone remains of 16 or so churches (we saw about 5 of them!), an amazing monastery with baptismal, and of course LOTS OF GREAT FOOD!  We went with co-workers and all had a wonderful time.
