A week before Madelyn's birthday, she, Nathan, and I (mom) were walking around the downtown of our city. We came across a man selling fish and turtles on the side of the road. For Madelyn (our animal lover), is was love at first sight. So, when we asked her what she wanted for her birthday of course she said, " A fish! And two turtles!" So, the Sunday before her birthday, we tracked down that street seller, and we got her a fish and two turtles!
